Paul McVeigh’s a good friend of mine. He’s also a top fighter and Cagewarriors bantamweight champion. I keep suggesting that we do an exhibition match to find out who’s really the best in the UK at 61.8kgs (135 lbs), but he’s still ducking me….
Anyway, a few months ago he asked me whether I’d do an interview for his new website, Fighting Mind. So I did. The evening I did it, I’d just got in from a long drive and had way too much caffeine to drink so I waffled a lot, and went off on a tangent or several. We chatted about the current state of female Mixed Martial Arts, my signing with EliteXC, training, contrast showers, and a bunch of other stuff. “You are going to edit this, right Paul?” “Um, we’ll see. I’m sure it’ll be fine”. “So that’s a ‘no’ then?” “Uh….. where were we?”
Anyhow, he’s also managed to get interviews and articles with Dan “the outlaw” Hardy, Paul “semtex” Daley, Leigh Remedios and other top UK fighters and trainers. There’s also a lot of good nutrition articles conditioning tips, and fighters’ training plans. It’s already a damn good read/listen/watch, and I know there’s a lot more planned for it. Well worth a look.

I’d pay good money to see you two fight
Fuck that. Cheers for the plug Rosi.
